import/export files from/to virtual machine

Hello,
I am currently taking the Hadoop big data class and I have a question regarding the usage of the virtual machine (cloudera).
How to import Java files and projects from my mac to the eclipse in the virtual machine, and later how to export my own projects from the virtual machine?
