Queries on Zookeeper, Sqoop and Flume chapter

I am wondering about how to do the demos in this chapter using CloudLabs. My problems are like this:

1. When I type mysql at the shell prompt after logging in, I get this:

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock'

Is mysql pre-installed? If yes, why am I getting this error?

2. When I try the find command as mentioned in demo to look for zkCli.sh i.e. find / -name zkCli.sh, I get 'Permission denied' messages. Are we supposed to download and install...
